My Story

Speaking as a mom of three grown children, a licensed Physical Therapist for thirty years, and an in-home business owner/operator for twenty-one years, I have been advocating and caring for others for most of my life.   When my mom had to return to the workforce to help our family years ago, I was entrusted with the care of my grandparents; my grandmother was blind, and my grandfather could no longer drive due to a history of strokes and multiple mini-strokes that compromised his peripheral vision.  We became the 'three musketeers' and did everything together.  I was their chauffeur, their errand-girl, their household helper, and their companion until both passed away.  My time with my grandparents was some of the happiest in my life, and definitely helped to shape me into the person I would become.  Having spent a great deal of time working with patients and clients of all ages over the years, I've had the privilege of getting to know many people and their families, as well as their triumphs and hardships.  No matter what age, struggles with health and other obstacles can truly interfere and overwhelm the best of families.  Enter Lending Hand and Heart, Adult Errand Services...my 'dream job' if you will, where I will apply the inspiration and wonderfully fulfilling moments I enjoyed with my grandparents, and my professional growth and experiences acquired over the years while caring for my patients.  I am so excited and look forward to becoming that special someone to help your loved one and family...dependable, experienced, dedicated.  Trust, Love, and Care....for peace of mind.
